CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Christmas is right around the corner. That means it’s time for the snow to fall, trees to decorate, cookies to frost, and lights to struggle with. We all like to say “I put the lights away properly this year! No way are they a tangled mess.” Then we tug them out of storage and find them more knotted than the sweaters we get from Grandma. It takes forever to unravel them! When the lights are finally unraveled, they seem to be out to get us.

Somehow the bulbs are not working, even though they were just fine last year! Now we have to go through the hassle to find which bulb decided to give up. By the time we have gone through every single light bulb, we only have a couple of minutes to hang the lights and get them on a timer. Why does holiday cheer have be so hard!
